Hitch & lift capacity

Separate connection geometry, lift measurement and the complete machine’s rated limits.

Treat physical fit as one question

Start with the selected implement’s connection requirements and the tractor’s own instructions. Then check whether the proposed quick hitch or adapter changes the arrangement. A label such as “three-point” is not the whole connection specification.

The linked cutter and disc-harrow manuals contain machine-specific setup instructions. Use the manual belonging to the actual equipment; neither document is a universal instruction for every implement in its class.

Put the measuring position next to the rating

Build your comparison sheet with columns for the rated capacity, where it is measured, the lift position and the intended load. Do not compare bare numbers whose conditions are different. Ask the supplier to reconcile the rating with the geometry of the chosen implement.

Record the implement’s weight in its working condition, not only an empty catalogue weight. Add the accessories and carried material you plan to use. Unknown masses remain questions for the quotation.

Review the whole setup

Write separate checks for clearance, transport, ballast, axle limits and the attachment itself. Lift capability is only one entry in the planning sheet. This guide does not calculate stability or approve a tractor–implement pairing.

Take the documents and a sketch of the actual setup to the dealer. Ask for the applicable rated limits and an explanation of which conditions apply. The useful outcome is a documented answer for your machine, rather than a generic claim that the pins fit.

Put your assumptions to work

Use your own inputs and keep the results with your planning sheet.
